Update from Administrator – May 8, 2020

As always, our team and I hope this email finds you safe and healthy.  I write to you again this week to keep you informed and updated.  The isolating effects that this virus has had on so many of us have been difficult, but I know it is that much more challenging as a family member of a nursing home resident.  I hope this communication helps fill some of that void.

As you are all aware, we have had residents test positive for COVID-19.  This has not only been devastating to me, but to all our management and staff that work so diligently to keep the virus from entering our center.  This has not stopped us, however, from still coming in every day and providing the best care possible.  All infection control measures and standards are still being utilized with high priority to minimize any potential spread of this insidious virus.

Since this week is National Nurses Week, I would like to take this opportunity to wish all Nurses my sincerest wishes and thank you for all of your hard work, dedication, and compassion for all of our residents here at Waterview Villa.  We remain incredibly grateful for our entire dedicated team and ask you to join me in ensuring that they are included as “Health Care Heroes” battling COVID-19.  They are doing everything they possibly can to care for those suffering and support them as they battle this disease.

Sincerely,

Marc Neustadt
