Update from Administrator – October 12, 2021

Dear Family Member,

Over this past weekend, we found out that a fourth-floor vaccinated resident has tested positive for COVID-19. This resident has been transferred to our COVID positive designated area on the second floor and his roommate is on isolation.

Per the Department of Health, we will be testing all employees and all residents twice per week for the next two weeks and suspending group activities on the fourth floor.

Out of an abundance of caution we are closing all visitation to the facility- inside and outside for at least this week. If the two rounds of staff and resident COVID test results come back negative this week, we will reassess the visitation issue and get back to you next Monday, October I 8th.

I apologize for this inconvenience, but our top priority must be patient safety and containing the spread of this disease. Please feel free to call me if you have any questions.
