Update from Administrator – March 31, 2022

Dear Resident & Family member,

Please accept this letter as an update to my letter dated March 29, 2022. Unfortunately, in addition to the one COVID-19 positive employee, we do have an additional positive COVID-19 case to inform you of; a resident on the third floor. This resident has been moved to an isolation room and their roommate was placed on precautions due to the positive exposure. Please be assured both residents are stable and have only minimal respiratory symptoms at this time. We continue to monitor all residents and adhere to the CDC and RIDOH infection control guidelines.

In addition to this positive COVID test result, we also have had two positive cases of Influenza A. One resident was discharged to the hospital and the other remains in isolation on the third floor. There also is a resident who is exhibiting mild respiratory/cold-like symptoms who was tested for COVID which was negative, however, was also tested for Influenza to which the lab results are pending.
