Update from Administrator – July 6, 2022
July 6, 2022
Dear Resident & Family member,
I write you today with update. Unfortunately, we have two confirmed cases of COVID-19. Both are of employees who work in different departments and there does not appear to be any evidence they had direct contact with each other. They are experiencing COVID symptoms and will remain in quarantine for the required isolation. The current guidelines require an individual who tests positive to quarantine for five days and if symptoms improve, they can retum to work on day six. Please be assured that our Director of Nurses Debbie immediately notified the RIDOH of the confirmed cases and we continue to collaborate ·with the RIDOH designated liaison assigned to our facility. We continue to adhere to the guidelines of both the CDC and RIDOH and as always, I will provide you with updates as related to the COVID-19 status within our home.
On a more positive note, the wedding vow renewal that took place on June 28th was beautiful and enjoyed by allin attendance. Ben, his wife, their children, and grandchildren shared this incredibly special celebration with our residents and staff. For that, we are grateful as it provided us with special memories that will forever remain in our hearts.
In closing, the visitor parking spaces were freshly painted and look great. There are six designated spaces for visitor parking in the front of the parking lot to the left side if facing the building. Our gardens are in full bloom and look beautiful and residents are excited to check in on the status of the growing vegetables. If you have not checked out the garden progress, please feel free to do so next time you are visiting. Stay well friends and thank you for your continued partnership and support.
Best regards,
Lori Levine, BSW, LNHA
