Update from Administrator – June 2, 2022
June 2, 2022
Dear Resident & Family member,
Please accept this letter as a follow up to the COVID -19 outbreak within our facility. I am beyond happy to report that we have no confirmed COVID-19 cases. Because we are no longer in outbreak, we have resumed formal dining and group activities. Today residents enjoyed a musical entertainment activity outdoors on our front patio. I wish you could have seen the smiles on their faces. We are looking forward to having more fun filled outdoor activities. Stay tuned for photos on our Facebook page!
As always, we continue to adhere to the guidelines of both RIDOH and the CDC. I will provide you with updates to any changes within those guidelines or within the status of COVID-19 cases within our facility. Per RIDOH, because we are no longer in outbreak, testing will resume for only those staff members not fully vaccinated and will be twice a week on Monday and Thursday. Please know, should we have another surge of positive cases, RIDOH may change this guidance however, I will keep you informed of any changes made.
In closing, I am happy to share that we have begun to transition those residents who were moved from their rooms to accommodate isolation needs during the COVID-19 outbreak back to their original rooms. As always, we appreciate your patience and support during this process.
Stay well friends.
Lori Levine, BSW, LNHA
