Update from Administrator – April 25, 2022
April 25, 2022
Dear Resident & Family member,
Happy Monday! Please accept this letter as update to the COVID-19 status. Unfortunately, we received three more positive test results over the weekend giving us a total of five new confirmed COVID cases. The residents were moved to isolation where they will remain throughout their quarantine. All reside on the third floor which has been the unit affected by this outbreak.
Fortunately, all are stable and only experiencing mild symptoms. Our next test date is scheduled for Wednesday. Please understand, it is quite possible there may be more positive test results from that round of testing. If so, I will provide you with update. As always, we continue to adhere to the RIDOH, and CDC guidelines related to social distancing and infection control and remain hopeful that in doing so, it will help us to get through this outbreak safely and expediently.
Aside from COVID news, residents have enjoyed preparing our floral and vegetable gardens with assistance from our recreation department director and staff. Even our ambassador assisted. From the look on their faces and seeing the laughter, all enjoyed their time spent gardening. It is so nice seeing outdoor activities enjoyed especially when the weather is so beautiful as it has been. Inside, we have been equally busy preparing for National Nursing Home Week which is the week of May 8th-May 13th. Our marketing committee is looking forward to the fun filled planned festivities for our residents and staff to enjoy! We look forward to sharing pictures of the festivities with you.
Please stay tuned and check out our Facebook page. Take care and as always, please feel free to call should you have any questions or concerns.
Best regards,
Lori Levine, BSW, LNHA Administrator
