Update from Administrator – March 29, 2022
March 29, 2022
Dear resident & Family member,
I hope this letter finds you doing well. Please accept this letter as update. While lots of good things are happening at Waterview Villa, unfortunately, we do have one confirmed COVID-19 positive test result of one employee. We received the positive test result from the lab late yesterday afternoon.
Please know, as of this writing, there is no other employee(s) or resident(s) reporting or experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19. We continue to monitor all residents and staff and will adhere to the testing guidelines for anyone exhibiting symptoms that are associated with COVID-19.
The affected employee remains on quarantine and will not be returning to work until all symptoms have resolved. Due to the confirmed COVID-19 case, we are requiring all personnel and visitors to wear N95 masks when on the units. Rest assured that group activities continue to be enjoyed and are held within the social distancing guidelines of RIDOH and CDC. As always, resident safety, wellbeing and quality continue to be our highest priority. We remain hopeful that Spring will not
only bring us warmer weather, however, will provide us with more positive days.
In closing, our residents are currently working on development of a cookbook that will be for sale. Residents are looking forward to cooking the special recipes with recreation staff on Saturdays and will vote for their favorite recipe. All funds will go directly back to the resident council so if you have a favorite recipe that you would like to share for this cookbook, please see one of our recreation staff members.
As always, thank you for your continued support. Stay well.
Best Regards,
Lori Levine, BSW, LNHA
